Ladies have a choice. You can accept the drink and continue chatting with him, or decline his offer. Either choice is fine. Just know that if you take the drink, you will probably spend a few more minutes chatting with him while waiting for the drink. If you don’t think he’s your type, you can just say, “No, thanks. I’m fine.” If you’re at one of our networking parties, chances are he is a nice, sincere guy. If you don’t want to reject him, you can say you’re driving, or you’re cutting back. And you can continue the conversation if you like.
