Since then, I have been going out to play pool almost every night. And I will usually ask my last appointment to go with me. You know what? Regardless of her age or level of attractiveness, guys always come over and play pool with us, give us a few pointers, and even exchange contacts.

I did some research and found that 99% of my male clients play, and some even have a pool table at home. But most of my female clients don’t know how to play. I started to teach them some basics, and now they are very popular. We find that this game of pool is a natural ice-breaker when guys and girls first meet. Guys who are normally shy are keen to teach the girls, and they can quickly build chemistry through playing and learning. There is a great bar in LKF Hotel that has three pool tables. They also serve good quality wine and canapes. I often invite my clients to join me there for Happy Hour and a game of pool. I find that 90% of my male clients play this game well, but most ladies are not very good. Guys generally enjoy teaching girls, and that’s how chemistry starts. Other people will often come over and ask if we want to play together, and playing in teams is a great conversation starter.

One of my male clients, a 45-year-old Canadian-Chinese, met his girlfriend through our personal matchmaking services. He continues to stay in touch and we sometimes play pool together. I tell my female clients to practice more often so they can meet up with other guys and play as a team.

Malcolm Gladwell says that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master a new skill. Find something that you are passionate about and maybe you will find love through this passion.
