Max, Head of an international company, British
Rebecca, entrepreneur, from Hong Kong

Max: ENTJ, extrovert, intuitive, Logical, Judging
Rebecca: ESFP, Extrovert, Observant, Feeling, Prospecting

I was introduced to Rachael and Smith a few weeks ago by a friend who had used their service and recommended it. I have a very busy job & didn’t devote much time to self-grooming. I wasn’t overweight, but I wasn’t fit either. Rachael gave me some great tips about fitness, grooming, dating and encouraged me to quit smoking and join a gym.

I went on a date and was instantly attracted to my partner. As I got to know her, I found that she was both very clever and very funny, which I find irresistible in a lady. I couldn’t believe that I had met someone who combines brains and beauty in such an incredible way. By our third date, I had fallen profoundly and irrevocably in love.

In the past, I was always too busy to devote sufficient time to make a relationship work, but in the past few weeks, we have seen each other every day, which proves that if you really want to be with someone you will find a way or make a way.

We love doing the same things – eating out, being with friends, playing pool, movies, pub quiz & shopping for books are just some of the things we have done together. She makes me the very best person I can be and I will love her forever.

I love general knowledge and challenges – I have participated in a pub quiz pretty much every week for the last 6 years. Now I get a new company to do thing I like to do.

After seeing each other for 22 days in a row, we decided to shop for an engagement ring, throw an engagement party for all of our friends, and plan our wedding and honeymoon.

A client, introvert, 1984, banking, 184cm, not much dating experience, successful and generous.
After he went on a date, he asked “Rachael the dinner was great. What do you suggest I do next?”

I said, “Challenge yourself to ask her out again.” A week later, he asked “Rachael, now we have had 2 dinner dates, I really like her. Any suggestions?” I said, “Send flowers”.

Then he asked, “What do you think about LEGO Flowers?” I said I would send them if it was to my nephew.

When you pick flowers:
1: The most important thing is to send them to the office during office hours. So that her colleagues can have an envious look at her.

2: Send them on a Monday, so that she can enjoy them for the whole week.

3: Do not use the trick of not putting your name on the card. Because it will be embarrassing if she guesses the wrong person. This is before you confirm the relationship. I remember one male client asked a female client if she can be his girlfriend, the next day when she received flowers, she thought they were from him. But actually, they were from another client who was also chasing her.

4: She might not have a vase at the office. 99.99% of guys will send just flowers. If you send them with a vase, you stand out.

5: There is a powder which can make the flowers last longer, ask the shop.

6: Always go for classy RED ROSES.

7: Never send white flowers, they are for funerals.

8: Agnes b eleven pieces of dark red rose is the best option.

9: Don’t send flowers which are in a box, no one will see them if she carries them on the street or to a restaurant.

10: 99 red roses are romantic. However, if she is the type of girl that like to wear shoes like Jimmy Choo, she might have to throw the flowers away to walk. It happened to my clients before.

11: There is a new design of a red rose with a real diamond on the rose. You can do it on special occasions but not on Valentine’s Day. Because no one will see the diamond. Everyone else will only see she got ONE bloom of the tiny flower while other girls have a big bunch of flowers.

*12: Send different flowers or roses, but in different colours so that if she wants to post on social media, it won’t look like she is re-posting the same flowers. First-time flowers should generally be red roses.

13: If you have no idea what flowers to send, you can ask the shop for a recommendation. What are the most popular flowers? Or pay attention to social media to see what other girls have posted lately.

14: Do not send flowers in boxes, especially on occasions like Valentine’s Day. Imagine a classy lady wearing high heels, in a nice dress and carrying a big box, walking on the street. Not a good look.

Here are my thoughts on the key greeting differences:

1. If you are a Westerner, meeting Asian girls … instead of giving a kiss on the cheek, test the waters out to see what makes the lady comfortable.

2. Shaking hands only happen when you are meeting someone for business – DON”T DO THAT ON A DATE. Most European, France, Spain, Italy, and UK men like to greet friends by kissing on both cheeks. Dutch and Belgium will give a cheek kiss 3 times.

3. If you don’t know how to react, just smile which is the near-universal friendliness. Do not act like you never have been kissed on the cheek before. Act like nothing has happened.

4. Make sure you spray cologne/perfume, and that your face is clean and neat, not oily. About perfume: many people are allergic especially to cheap perfume.

5. In Asia, generally speaking, no physical contact on the first date when greeting each other (best to wait until things are more relaxed – a few drinks definitely helps!).
In conclusion, a hug, a gentle touch of the shoulder, a smile on a first date.

Last night when I was watching a movie with my loved one, a movie called Dr. Strange, someone asked the doctor: What makes you become a PHD?

He said “Study and practice!”

This applies to all professional jobs, dating, and relationships. Someone also said: I found the harder I work, the luckier I get.

Therefore let’s keep studying and practicing how to be good at dating, a good gentleman/lady, or a good spouse.

You will find the harder you work at it…the luckier you become, and the closer you will get to what you want.
