Rachael and Smith is going to be 15 years old.

About our client base:

When ladies come for a consultation, they often ask, why if these guys have such good profiles, do they need your service? I say because they knew me, they joined one of my events 10 or even 15 years ago.

How to maximize your chance to meet people this Halloween?

Halloween, like most of the other festivals is a chance for people to dress up, go out, socialize and party. Most people don’t know the origin of Halloween. It doesn’t matter – if you are single, the following are the tricks that you can use to enhance your chances of meeting someone.

1: Many people like to dress up in a horror costume, with fake blood make up on their face. If you are in a relationship and want a fun night out, that’s OK. But if you are single, and have horror makeup on your face, the chances are others won’t see your real face and won’t remember you. Even if you bump into each other again you won’t recognise each other.

2: Go for the classics: the most eye-catching ones are always a group of more than 2 girls dressing up in uniform or as famous historical people, like Sailor Moon, or superheroes. You will find there are plenty of fake abs six packs and superhero outfits.

3: When to go out: this year Halloween is on a Wednesday; in my experience, when Halloween falls on a school night, most people will dress up and party the weekend before or after. It’s better to just go out on Friday after work, then dress up on the Saturday. Like every year, there will be lots of people walking around LKF, but their mood is just to see what the most interesting outfits are out there. Most bars are quiet on that evening…. go out anyway.

4: Preparation: No matter whether you want to dress up or not, it’s always better to do some research about this special occasion. Are there any interesting parties to go to? What are the themes? In case you want to dress up, can you get an outfit that fits you properly? Most casual cheap outfits won’t fit. The better way is to buy it earlier and take to a tailor. Study, prepare and have fun!

Greeting cultural differences on a first date

Here are my thoughts on the key greeting differences:

1. If you are a Westerner, meeting Asian girls … instead of giving a kiss on the cheek, test the waters out to see what makes the lady comfortable.

2. Shaking hands only happen when you are meeting someone for business – DON”T DO THAT ON A DATE. Most European, France, Spain, Italy, and UK men like to greet friends by kissing on both cheeks. Dutch and Belgium will give a cheek kiss 3 times.

3. If you don’t know how to react, just smile which is the near-universal friendliness. Do not act like you never have been kissed on the cheek before. Act like nothing has happened.

4. Make sure you spray cologne/perfume, and that your face is clean and neat, not oily. About perfume: many people are allergic especially to cheap perfume.

5. In Asia, generally speaking, no physical contact on the first date when greeting each other (best to wait until things are more relaxed – a few drinks definitely helps!).
In conclusion, a hug, a gentle touch of the shoulder, a smile on a first date.

Keep studying and practicing to The PHD Rule

Last night when I was watching a movie with my loved one, a movie called Dr. Strange, someone asked the doctor: What makes you become a PHD?

He said “Study and practice!”

This applies to all professional jobs, dating, and relationships. Someone also said: I found the harder I work, the luckier I get.

Therefore let’s keep studying and practicing how to be good at dating, a good gentleman/lady, or a good spouse.

You will find the harder you work at it…the luckier you become, and the closer you will get to what you want.
